Mullin Manufacturing

About Mullin

Built on proven experience

Mullin Manufacturing builds trailers, air suspension and snow & ice truck equipment, including complete plow truck upfits. The same shop also offers waterjet and plasma cutting, press brake forming, welding, sandblasting and painting services.

Our Story

Building since 2017

Jake Mullin founded Mullin Manufacturing in 2017 after years in highway-maintenance equipment, where he oversaw and upfitted approximately 300 trucks, adapting equipment to demanding provincial specifications and field requirements.

Jeramy Mullin joined the truck-build operation in 2019, developing hands-on expertise in fabrication, workflow and facility management. Together, that experience shaped Mullin Manufacturing’s build standards.

The team has worked across British Columbia, Alberta and Ontario specifications, including combo-body, U-body, brine and flag trucks. Today, Mullin builds serviceable highway-maintenance equipment for customers across Canada.

Mullin’s roots are broader than snow and ice. In its early years the company produced air suspension systems for pickup trucks and several trailer product lines out of a single-bay shop, and both are part of what we build today.

How We Work

Quality comes first

We set realistic timelines, communicate openly and take ownership of every build. We refine our designs and production methods before increasing volume, protecting consistency as the company grows.

Our Mission

To design and build durable, serviceable highway maintenance equipment that reduces downtime and performs reliably in Canada’s toughest operating conditions.

Honesty

Clear scope, capabilities, pricing assumptions and schedule communication.

Accountability

Ownership of quality, documentation, commitments and corrective action.

Practical Engineering

Design decisions grounded in operator experience, maintainability and whole-life cost.

Collaboration

Close work with fleet managers, shop teams, suppliers and regulators.

Serviceability

Replace a failed component where practical, instead of discarding an entire assembly.

The Shop

One consolidated facility

Cutting, welding, fabrication, assembly, truck upfitting, sandblasting and painting all happen at our main shop, with a precision waterjet table, CNC plasma table, 70-ton press brake and steel roller, plus a dedicated blast-and-paint building. In-house fabrication gives us repeatable quality and reliable replacement parts, and the same equipment is available for your jobs through our shop services.
